Akkodis is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer - AWS & Oracle Cloud Infra (OCI) + Utilities exp for a Contract to Hire with a client in Saint Louis, MO(Hybrid). This role involves designing and managing scalable cloud environments while ensuring high availability, security compliance, and driving automation and DevOps practices.
Rate Range: $60/Hour to $75/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Cloud Engineer - AWS & Oracle Cloud Infra (OCI) + Utilities exp Job Responsibilities include:
Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and OCI environments.
Design and implement hybrid cloud networking, including VPCs, VPNs, and load balancing solutions.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of cloud systems.
Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Drive automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices to improve deployment efficiency and system operations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure management, and DevOps practices.
Strong expertise in AWS and OCI cloud platforms with hands-on experience in Terraform/Infrastructure as Code and hybrid cloud architectures.
Proven experience in cloud security, compliance (NERC CIP, SOX), and managing high-availability enterprise production environments.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $75.00 per hour
