Senior Composite Technician

Job Title: Senior Composite Technician (10+ Years Experience)Location: Perkasie, PA Company: Carson Helicopters, Inc.Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Composite Technician with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience to support advanced composite manufacturing and prototyping efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment and has deep expertise in both wet layup and prepreg composite processes. Experience in regulated industries such as aerospace or aviation is strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities:Execute composite fabrication processes including wet layup, vacuum bagging, and prepreg layupsInterpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and laminate schedulesSupport prototype development, tooling, and first article buildsPerform trimming, bonding, and finishing operations to tight tolerancesAssist engineering teams in process development and optimizationMaintain quality standards consistent with regulated industry requirementsDocument work and ensure traceability where requiredRequired Qualifications:Minimum 10 years of experience in composite fabricationStrong experience with both wet layup and prepreg systemsDemonstrated experience in prototyping or low-rate initial production environmentsAbility to work from technical drawings and specificationsProficiency with vacuum bagging techniques and curing processes (oven/autoclave preferred)High attention to detail and workmanship standardsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in aerospace, aviation, or other regulated industries (FAA, ISO, etc.)Familiarity with structural composite repairs and inspection techniquesExperience working with large or complex composite structuresKnowledge of material systems (epoxies, resins, core materials such as foam/honeycomb)Experience with tooling fabrication and mold makingWork Environment:Hands-on manufacturing environment with advanced composite materials and processesCollaboration with engineering and production teams on cutting-edge projectsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for growth within a specialized aerospace manufacturing environmentHow to Apply: Please submit your resume along with a brief summary of your relevant experience in composite fabrication and prototyping.
