You'll serve as the Qualified Individual for both Virginia CBC and EMC contractor classifications while supporting daily construction and equipment installation operations on a hyperscale data center infrastructure project in Manassas. This is a hands-on leadership role working alongside the construction superintendent and project leadership team, with direct involvement in field operations, regulatory compliance, and project execution.

Your role

• Serve as the company's Qualified Individual for both Virginia CBC and EMC contractor classifications, subject to DPOR approval.
• Support daily construction and equipment installation operations on the hyperscale data center project.
• Coordinate Virginia contractor licensing compliance, building permits, inspections, and building code requirements.
• Work closely with construction superintendents, project managers, installation crews, and site leadership.
• Support equipment installation activities including rigging, anchoring, alignment, and installation sequencing.
• Review construction drawings, equipment installation specifications, and structural attachment details.
• Coordinate with general contractors, customer representatives, subcontractors, and local building officials.
• Support quality control inspections and construction compliance verification.
• Assist with preconstruction activities including scope reviews, estimating, and project planning.
• Verify appropriate Virginia contractor licensing for all subcontractors.

What you'll need

• Current Virginia residency and ability to work full-time on-site in Manassas.
• Minimum five years of verifiable qualifying experience in both commercial building construction leadership and industrial equipment and machinery installation supervision.
• Ability to satisfy Virginia DPOR requirements to serve as Qualified Individual for both CBC and EMC classifications.
• Virginia Commercial Building Contractor (CBC) License or Qualification.
• Virginia Equipment/Machinery Contracting (EMC) License or Qualification.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification.
• Strong coordination, communication, and project execution skills.
• Knowledge of Virginia construction permitting, inspections, and contractor licensing.

Helpful, but not required

• Previous service as a Qualified Individual on a Virginia Class A contractor license.
• Candidates who have already passed the Virginia CBC and EMC technical examinations (or the NASCLA alternative for CBC) will receive priority consideration.
• Data center, hyperscale, or mission-critical construction experience.
• Heavy rigging and equipment installation oversight experience.
• Familiarity with Northern Virginia permitting and inspection requirements.

You'll report to the VP of Programs and Delivery and work on a hyperscale data center infrastructure project in Manassas.
