The successful candidate will oversee all phases of construction and technical systems integration from project planning through completion, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day on-site construction and systems integration activities from initial project kickoff through final closeout.
  • Supervise and coordinate construction crews, subcontractors, and site personnel by assigning tasks and establishing performance expectations.
  • Plan, optimize, and allocate project resources including labor, materials, heavy equipment, and external subcontractors.
  • Develop, track, and maintain comprehensive project schedules utilizing Primavera P6, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
  • Monitor field progress, identify potential operational risks, and proactively implement corrective actions to protect project scope and budget.
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards, conduct regular site inspections, and verify strict compliance with building codes and industry regulations.
  • Manage the design, development, and integration of systems architecture incorporating hardware, software, and networking components for transportation systems.
  • Oversee integration testing, validation strategies, and interoperability protocols to verify full system functionality across all technical platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with electrical, software, and mechanical engineering teams to align integration efforts with overall project goals.
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, project managers, inspectors, senior leadership, and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including daily activity logs, budgets, RFIs, change orders, and regular progress reports.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • Five to ten or more years of proven construction management experience, specifically including the supervision of large-scale or complex field operations.
  • Demonstrated success managing project schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary subcontractor teams.
  • Proficiency with enterprise-level construction management software and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
  • Strong understanding of modern construction methods, local building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex blueprints, engineering schematics, and technical documents.
Required Qualifications:
  • Direct experience working with rail networks and transportation systems intervention.
  • Familiarity with ISO 900 quality management standards.
  • Professional industry certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), OSHA 30, or LEED.
