Senior Controls Technician

Loyal Source is looking for a Senior Controls Technician for an employment opportunity in Oahu, Hawaii.

About the Role:

Join our Technical Services Division as a Senior Controls Technician, where you'll leverage your expertise to impact building efficiency and operational excellence. With a focus on HVAC Controls Systems, you'll be integral in maintaining and enhancing system performance, providing unmatched support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electronic control system malfunctions requiring knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems and testing and writing modifications of systems software.
• May assist with sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings.
• May provide training to customers on electronic control systems operations. Deliver manuals and documentation to the customer for training needs as required.
• Provide support to the mechanical staff to troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with company, state, local, and Federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest level of ethics.
• Properly complete all required company, customer, and service documentation.
• Compile job documentation, such as certificates of completion, customer training forms, training certificates, and punch lists.
• Use electronic test equipment to troubleshoot complicated problems during installation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Electronics, Mechanical systems, Computer Technology, Air Conditioning, or equivalent experience.
• 5 or more years of experience commissioning, troubleshooting, programming, or installing Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.
• Knowledge includes HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation, and servicing techniques.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass drug and background screening.

Pay: $40 per hour.
