Position: Senior Cook Location: Post Falls, ID Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3+ months
We are looking for candidates with previous cooking experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, healthcare, hospital, or similar institutional food service setting.
Position Summary – Cook The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals in accordance with physician-ordered diets, specialized diet textures, and food safety regulations. Duties include meal preparation, food production, portion control, maintaining sanitation standards, operating kitchen equipment, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Experience preparing modified diets and texture-modified foods for elderly residents is highly preferred.
