Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this individual will help lead the general ledger accounting. This successful candidate will be the key accounting resource for cross-functional business partners and handle any accounting process improvements.401K Company MatchResponsibilities:Lead month-end closing process, reviewing all journal entries and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Oversee day-to-day AP processing, including vendor onboarding and inquiries, invoice verifying, classifying, accuracy, invoice processing standardization, and process improvement initiatives.Manage the quarterly and annual audit processes by working closely with external audit firm, providing supporting documentation and addressing requests and issues.Perform various complex account analyses and reconciliation.Prepare accounting and reporting disclosure checklists and ensure that required accounting and GAAP disclosures are met.Designs and maintains effective controls in compliance with SOX, to ensure appropriate accounting treatment is applied to the Company's transactions.Support financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvementsIdentify and resolve complex accounting issues as they arise and lead special or ad-hoc projects and transactions, as needed.Coordinate key timelines and deliverables, and work cross functionally with business partners, IT, engineering, Product, HR, and other teams.Performs special projects as assigned by LeadershipRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related fieldCPA preferred, with thorough knowledge of US GAAP is requiredIndustry experience in Manufacturing preferredExperience with Accounting Process ImprovementsCollaborative, innovative, flexible, and adept at building relationships across the organizationExperience using an ERP system such Oracle, SAP or NetSuite is a plusSeniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Accounting/Auditing, Finance, and Strategy/PlanningIndustries Manufacturing, Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing, and Accounting#J-18808-Ljbffr
