Position: Levenfeld Pearlstein (LP) is currently seeking a Senior Corporate Associate with 6 to 8 years of sophisticated M&A transactions experience to join our growing and highly collaborative Corporate Practice Group.

About our practice:   LP’s Corporate Practice Group represents middle-market companies, private equity funds, family businesses, and entrepreneurs in a wide range of transactional and governance matters. We handle M&A transactions from $10 million to $1 billion across diverse industries — including food & beverage, industrial manufacturing, professional services, cannabis, and more.  Our work includes complex acquisitions, divestitures, ESOP transactions, joint ventures, restructurings, complex commercial agreements, private offerings and general corporate counseling.

Experience that makes you a fit:

• Private company mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contracts, LLC/shareholder agreements, and advising middle market companies on various other general corporate matters.
• Extensive knowledge of private equity, sophisticated M&A transactions and private securities offerings.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• We are looking for someone who is bright, eager to continue to learn and develop new skills and who is a self-starter with a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial approach to practicing law.
• Experience with alternative practice structures is a plus.

LP has a proven track record of helping laterals realize success in the short and long term. Our Associates can expect equitable opportunity to work on a diverse number of substantive matters across different teams within the Corporate group.  Working under the leadership of different Partners, Associates will directly contribute to the exceptional service our clients expect.

Salary and benefits:  The annual salary range for this position is $315,000 to $340,000.  LP believes this is the pay range it will pay for this position at the time of posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be contingent on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant and the requirements of the position. LP offers generous compensation and benefits packages, including medical, dental and vision benefits, paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
