Senior Cost Accountant

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Cost Accountant:

Maintain and improve standard inventory costing processes
Perform variance analysis comparing actual, budgeted, and estimated costs
Analyze gross margins by product and provide insights to sales and leadership teams
Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs)
Update labor and overhead rates to ensure accurate product costing
Leverage ERP to improve reporting, costing accuracy, and business insights

Qualifications for the Senior Cost Accountant:

2+ years of manufacturing accounting or cost accounting experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment or public accounting experience supporting manufacturing clients
Understanding of inventory costing, variance analysis, and product costing concepts
Experience working within ERP systems
