Sentara Obici Hospital, located in Suffolk, Virginia, is currently hiring a Senior CT Radiology Technologist for a Full Time, Weekend Day Shift position.

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 7am - 7pm
• Call will be required

Overview

Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol. IV Competency. Cardiac Imaging Competency. Acting as liaison to physician and supportive care personnel. Leads department operations and staff. Acts as liaison to Imaging leadership. Participation in system Imaging Committees.

Education

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required)

Certification/Licensure

• ARRT (CT) or CNMT (Required)
• BLS

Experience

• Must have at least 2 yrs of CT experience

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $45.63 - $66.64 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
