Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and potential threats.
- Lead efforts to patch vulnerabilities and improve defenses.
- Manage security tools like firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, and email protection.
- Test and assess security controls, then report findings clearly.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and auditors to ensure compliance.
- Stay current with cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
- Contribute to secure system/network designs.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for incident response.
Who You'll Work With:
- Report directly to the Head of Cybersecurity
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and various departments
- Liaise with security vendors and compliance stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- Solid experience in information security.
- Strong understanding of penetration testing and network defense techniques
- Familiarity with tools like firewalls, proxies, SIEMs, antivirus, and IdPs.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management across on-prem and remote systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work independently.
