Title: Senior Data Analyst (FP&A)
Location: Remote
Rate: $70-80/hr.
Duration: 6 months

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to serve as a Business Intelligence (BI) Requirements Lead within the Finance organization. This role will act as the key liaison between FP&A stakeholders and BI development teams, ensuring reporting and analytics solutions effectively support financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) within a banking or financial services environment, combined with experience gathering business requirements, translating financial concepts into technical specifications, and supporting the delivery of Power BI reporting solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Data Analysis - 10+ years of experience.
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - 5-8 years of experience.
• Accounting Principles (P&L, Balance Sheet, Financial reporting) - 5-10 years of experience.
• SQL - 5-10 years of experience.
• Python - 5-10 years of experience.
• Power BI and reporting- 5-10 years
• Prior work experience in the Banking or Financial Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and enterprise data management concepts.
• Background in banking, risk management, or financial regulatory reporting.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Collaborate with FP&A stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for business intelligence and analytics solutions.
• Translate complex financial planning concepts into clear technical requirements.
• Partner with Power BI developers to ensure dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions meet business expectations and timelines.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities to support reporting accuracy.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring delivered solutions satisfy business requirements.
