Our client, a Financial company, is looking for a Senior Data Analyst for their Richmond, VA location.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with SQL and Python
- Data modeling experience, particularly with relational databases
- Experience consolidating and simplifying existing scripts and pipelines to improve, reusability, data quality, and performance
- Adherence to enterprise data management practices, including designing preventative and detective data quality checks
- Experience using Git or similar tools for managing code, scripts, and collaborative pipeline development
- Strong communication skills, especially when communicating problems identified during the course of the work
- 5+ years of experience in Databricks, OneLake, and OneStream
- Strong domain knowledge to translate business context into data insights and support data governance standards
- Demonstrated ability to deal with disparate and occasionally ambiguous data sources
