Senior Data Analytics Engineer Data · Remote (US) or San Mateo, CA · Full-Time About Step Step's mission is to improve the financial future of the next generation. Millions of people use our banking and borrowing products to manage, build, and grow their money. Now that we're part of Beast Industries - the company behind MrBeast - we're poised for a new phase of growth to deliver financial literacy and tools at massive scale. About the Role We're looking for a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to join our Data team, partnering with teams across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance to own the models, pipelines, and metric definitions that every other team builds on. You'll design and maintain the transformation layer behind our data to drive decisions across the company. Step's data surface grows every time we launch, and the person in this seat is the reason it stays trustworthy and fast to query instead of sprawling. As part of Beast Industries, MrBeast's family of companies, Step is positioned to scale significantly over the next 12-24 months, and this role will build the data foundation that has to hold as our customer base multiplies. In this role, you will: Own and maintain Step's core analytics data models, the transformation layer connecting raw user, product, banking, and risk data to every dashboard and BI tool at the company, serving as the single source of truth teams make decisions from. Design, build, and maintain the pipelines and transformations powering analytics and data science use cases, with data quality, freshness, and lineage checks built in rather than bolted on afterward.
