Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. This role is responsible for developing optimized data solutions, ensuring data quality, and supporting enterprise data warehouse operations.

Rate Range: $44/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Data Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL Server, Snowflake, Python, and SSIS.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate data requirements into effective data solutions.

• Develop and optimize data warehouse objects, SQL queries, stored procedures, and transformation processes.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance through validation, reconciliation, and monitoring activities.

• Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), production deployments, and issue resolution.

• Monitor and optimize data processing performance while providing production and on-call support as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 6-8 years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, and enterprise data warehousing.

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, Snowflake, Python, and SSIS, including development and optimization of data pipelines.

• Experience designing and supporting scalable data integration solutions, data quality processes, and Snowflake-based data warehouse environments.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
