What We're Looking For
Core, hands-on experience in enterprise data modeling with data modeling serving as the candidate's primary responsibility and not simply exposure as part of a Data Engineering role.
Recent hands-on experience with MongoDB, including designing or working with document-based data models.
Strong mortgage domain experience with recent and consistent involvement in mortgage-related projects. Experience supporting Freddie Mac or Client is highly preferred.
Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Snowflake.
Experience modeling JSON and other semi-structured data.
Solid understanding of data integration, ETL, and enterprise data architecture.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across both technical and business teams.
Demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to think independently, solve problems proactively, and contribute ideas rather than simply executing assigned tasks.
Candidates who are already local to the McLean, VA area are strongly preferred.
Bonus Points For
Experience with multi-family mortgage or housing finance data
Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms beyond Snowflake
Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments
