Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Product Manager with strong experience in Data Product Management and Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM). This role will focus on building and managing data products that support the integration of pharmacy data from a third-party PBM and make that data available across various business and technical workstreams.
The ideal candidate should understand both the business aspects of PBM operations and the technical data lifecycle, including data ingestion, transformation, processing, integration, and consumption.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and manage data product strategy, roadmap, requirements, and priorities.
Partner with business, data, engineering, and architecture teams to deliver PBM/pharmacy data products.
Understand PBM operations, pharmacy data assets, data-exchange patterns, and integration challenges.
Help determine how pharmacy data can be ingested, transformed, governed, and consumed across different applications and workstreams.
Translate business requirements into clear data product requirements and technical specifications.
Work with technical teams on APIs, Kafka, databases, data platforms, and cloud-based data solutions.
Support initiatives involving Snowflake, AWS, Kafka, APIs, and MuleSoft environments.
Monitor data product quality, usability, availability, and alignment with business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
9–10 years of Data Product Management experience.
2–3+ years of PBM experience with strong knowledge of pharmacy benefits and PBM data.
Strong understanding of data platforms, databases, data ingestion, transformation, processing, and consumption.
Strong technical understanding of SQL, APIs, Kafka, and AWS/Cloud environments.
Experience with Snowflake, Kafka, APIs, and AWS.
MuleSoft experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
Strong communication and ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
