Our client, a global professional services firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join their dynamic team for a 5-month contract engagement, with the possibility of an extension based on performance and project needs. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be crucial in analyzing complex data using statistical and machine learning models. Your work will provide valuable insights and drive data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.
Position Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
A minimum of ten years of proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis and visualization.
Experience working with APIs, Linux operating systems, structured and unstructured databases, big data technologies such as Databricks and Spark, and cloud services.
Strong understanding and experience with natural language processing, generative artificial intelligence, and large language models.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in business analysis and familiarity with working in an Agile framework.
Responsibilities:
Analyze complex data using statistical and machine learning models to derive actionable insights.
Utilize Python for data analysis, visualization, and collaboration with APIs, Linux operating systems, databases, big data technologies, and cloud services.
Develop innovative solutions for natural language processing and generative modeling tasks utilizing natural language processing, generative artificial intelligence, and large language models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data science solutions.
Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication skills and experience in business analysis.
Participate in an Agile framework, engaging in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
