We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Development Accountant to join our dynamic and fast-paced Accounting + Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing the accounting and financial aspects of our development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financials, including WIP, Yardi, Bridge Loans, and Draw Loans. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the entire financial cycle of development projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
2. Maintain and manage the WIP schedule, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
3. Utilize Yardi for property management accounting, including tenant billing, lease administration, and financial reporting.
4. Manage Bridge Loans and Draw Loans, ensuring timely and accurate loan draws and repayments.
5. Prepare and present financial reports for management, highlighting key trends and potential risks.
6. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure the financial success of development projects.
7. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
8. Implement and improve financial management systems and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
9. Provide financial advice and strategic planning support to senior management.
10. Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA qualification will be considered an advantage.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
3. Proven experience with WIP, Yardi, Bridge Loans, and Draw Loans.
4. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
5. Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel, and accounting software.
6. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound financial decisions.
