Job Responsibilities

• Design, improve, and maintain secure, durable, and performant infrastructure to power APIs, web applications, and data mining/ETL workflows to meet established SLAs
• Work with developers to bring new products and services into production
• Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of all products and services throughout the software development lifecycle
• Improve operational processes and apply best practices to ensure scalability, security, and availability
• Proactively meet standards for information security and compliance, such as SOC 2/ISO27001

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps role focused on maintaining production infrastructure, with a preference for experience in supporting highly available environments for SaaS or cloud service providers.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, ECS or EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, S3, Code/Build/Pipeline/Deploy, etc.
• Strong familiarity with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, Ansible, AWS CLI/SDK, and Boto.
• Expertise in release automation, system administration, configuration, and system debugging.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and experience working in Linux environments.
• A deep understanding of system and networking concepts, along with troubleshooting skills for both bare metal and containerized workloads.
• Bonus points for experience with .NET applications deployed in Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments, as well as expertise in Microsoft Active Directory.
