Job Title : Senior DevOps Engineer
Location : Chicago IL
Duration : 6 months + possible extension
Rate Range: $45 - $50/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering and DevOps, with a focus on Azure technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to work onsite in Chicago, IL, and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the financial services sector.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with strong expertise in Azure.
Practical experience with Azure DevOps, Git version control, Docker, and Kubernetes on AKS.
Strong proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and operational efficiency.
Ability to create modular, reusable infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep.
Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification is highly preferred.
Experience with CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Experience with security tools such as SonarQube.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize automated build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Provision, manage, and scale Azure cloud resources using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
