Job Title : Senior DevOps Engineer

Duration : 6 months + possible extension
Rate Range: $45 - $50/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering and DevOps, with a focus on Azure technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to work onsite in Chicago, IL, and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the financial services sector.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with strong expertise in Azure.
- Practical experience with Azure DevOps, Git version control, Docker, and Kubernetes on AKS.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and operational efficiency.
- Ability to create modular, reusable infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification is highly preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with security tools such as SonarQube.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize automated build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Provision, manage, and scale Azure cloud resources using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
