Senior DevOps Engineer – KX/KDB+ | Trade Surveillance

Our client is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with 8-10 years of experience to lead deployment, configuration, and maintenance of a containerized Trade Surveillance platform across UAT and production environments.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Lead end-to-end deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of containerized Trade Surveillance platforms across multiple environments
• Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Docker, and Podman with expertise in pod orchestration and persistent volume management
• Support KX/KDB+, OneTick, and trade surveillance platform infrastructure and operational requirements
• Manage AWS infrastructure including VPCs, Security Groups, ALB/NLB, AWS EFS, RDS, and cloud networking configurations
• Configure and troubleshoot enterprise authentication integrations including Keycloak, SAML 2.0, and OpenID Connect
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Grafana, Loki, and Promtail
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python and Bash; perform root-cause analysis on production issues
• Support Linux-based infrastructure, shared storage systems (NFS, AWS EFS), POSIX permissions, container networking, and SSL/TLS configurations

Requirements

• 8-10 years of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Docker, and Podman
• Strong AWS infrastructure expertise including VPCs, Security Groups, load balancers, EFS, and RDS
• Hands-on experience with KX/KDB+ or similar real-time data platforms
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise SSO and authentication systems (Keycloak, SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect)
• Proficiency in Linux systems administration, NFS/storage management, and POSIX permissions
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash; solid understanding of container networking, load balancing, and SSL/TLS
• Experience with monitoring and logging platforms (Grafana, Loki, Promtail) and trade surveillance systems
