Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in global logistics, supply chain, or a directly related field required, with demonstrated progression into senior leadership roles.
- Minimum of 10 years of supervisory and management experience, including at least 5 years leading director-level teams and driving enterprise-level cross-functional initiatives.
- 15+ years of hands-on experience with import/export trade compliance, U.S. and international customs regulations, and global logistics operations supporting enterprise-scale business.
- Expert knowledge of Supply Chain & Logistics terminology and lingo.
- Knowledge of and experience with regional customs regulations on exports, import experience. US Trade regulations experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of and experience with import/export documents and regulations supporting global business
- Must be able to communicate effectively with different layers of the organization.
- Experience with Global Trade Management systems. (Oracle GTM, Amber Road, etc.)
- Proficient in web-based applications and MS Office
- Experience and understanding of VAT regulations a plus
- Experience and knowledge of other global import/export regulations a plus.
- Qualified candidates must be interested in working within fast-paced, changing environment.
- Must be fluent in English, any other language is a plus
- Must possess an elevated level of integrity and professionalism, including in dealing with complex and sensitive matters
- Broker's License is a plus.
- This role includes assignment of work for specific WWT customers. Some customers have specific on-boarding requirements, including background check and drug testing requirements that go beyond WWT's requirements. Ability to meet these requirements may be necessary for continued employment, depending on needs of the department.Warehouse/Operations Demonstrated experience working in close partnership with warehouse, distribution, and/or integration center operations at scale (1M+ sq ft / complex multi-site environments preferred).
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 25% (domestic and international).
Compensation/ Benefits:
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $165,00 - 200,000 plus a variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
