Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Document Control Specialist for a Contract with a client in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will coordinate and manage document change orders, controlled documents, and quality records to ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures.

Rate Range: $30/Hour to $33/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Document Control Specialist Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and manage document change orders, deviations, and control document workflows.

• Review, format, track, and release quality documents in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Ensure document accuracy, completeness, and adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

• Support SOP creation, editing, and maintenance across the Quality Management System (QMS).

• Conduct document control training and assist with training assignments and compliance metrics.

• Support internal/external audits and drive continuous improvements in document control processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Document Control within a regulated industry.

• Working knowledge of 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and electronic document management systems.

• Experience with technical writing, document formatting, change control processes, and data trending.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
