Use AutoCAD or similar CAD software to prepare detailed shop
drawings for millwork fabrication.

Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings,
blueprints, and specifications.
<\/p>
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers,
and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
<\/p>
Visit construction jobsites to verify measurements and
dimensions as necessary.
<\/p>
Perform material takeoffs and prepare cut lists.
<\/p>
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
<\/p>
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all drawings
and related materials.
<\/p>
Minimum 2 -3 years of experience in the millwork industry.
<\/p>
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software, with minimum
1 -3 years of experience.
<\/p>
Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop
drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
<\/p>
Strong spatial visualization skills and ability to work in
both 2D and 3D.
<\/p>
Proficiency in Excel, PDF manipulation, and other relevant
software.
<\/p>
Valid Texas Driver License.
<\/p>

This is not an entry -level position. Candidates with 1 -3
years of AutoCAD experience and/or 1 -3 years of experience as a millwork
drafter will be considered. However, a certificate in drafting will be required
for entry -level positions.
<\/p>
The schedule for this position is 50+ hours per week, and
you must be able to meet tight deadlines.
<\/p>
