The Senior Electrical Assembler will perform various duties on power distribution equipment and power control rooms that includes assembly, wiring and installation of components and systems.
Essential Responsibilities
Interpret technical drawings and prints to assemble point to points systems, control panels and other electrical systems accurately.
Identify, cut, strip, and secure wires, connectors, and harnesses for industrial applications
Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires
Use wire markers, cable labels, tie-wraps, or cable lacing to maintain organized harnesses
Install wiring by following standard work/process instructions (NEC Manual)
Learn and adhere to all safety policies and practices to avoid safety incidents
Learn and adhere to all manufacturing policies and practices to ensure consistent production
Ensure quality by following standard work/process instructions & identifying any potential risks to product quality
Ensure that work areas remain clean and well organized
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of high school diploma or GED and 5+ year of relevant manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing experience
Must have a basic command of the English language, both written and verbal
Ability to crimp and terminate wires
Ability to read drawings or blueprints
Strong understanding of electrical components, systems, including soldering, wiring, & circuit assembly.
Working knowledge of electricity, circuits, and functions of common components (panel boards, transformers, disconnects, terminal blocks, relays, lighting contactors, etc)
Ability to read drawings (wiring diagrams, schematics, layout drawings)
Working knowledge of relevant NEC Code sections
Mentoring skills and ability to train others effectively.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Knowledge of air, hand, and power tools
Basic mechanical knowledge
Ability to read a tape measure
Employee is expected to meet or exceed established Electrical Assembler II productivity run rates
Working & Environmental Conditions
Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Regular and frequent standing
Frequently working from a ladder, and climbing up and down ladders.
Regularly working overhead
Regularly woking in cramped quarters
