    Description

    The Opportunity

    We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Lead to drive electrical design and execution for complex data center projects. This role combines technical leadership, project oversight, team development, and client engagement.

    You will:

    • Lead electrical engineering delivery for design-only, design-build, and construction-only projects

    • Serve as a subject matter expert in data center electrical systems

    • Oversee complex engineering deliverables across multiple or large-scale projects

    • Provide technical direction, mentorship, and quality oversight to engineering teams

    • Act as Engineer of Record (where applicable)

    • Collaborate cross-functionally across disciplines

    • Engage in client-facing discussions and support business development efforts

    • Develop scopes of work, budgets, schedules, and technical strategies

    • Contribute to continuous improvement, risk management, and quality initiatives

    This position primarily supports projects across North America.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership on engineering standards, design guides, and applicable codes

    • Develop and review complex calculations, system studies, and equipment selections

    • Ensure compliance with internal quality programs and engineering best practices

    • Manage discipline budgets, schedules, staffing, and deliverable quality

    • Coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines on integrated project delivery

    • Identify and address client drivers, priorities, and long-term needs

    • Support pursuit strategy and technical positioning for new opportunities

    • Mentor and develop early-career professionals

    • Contribute to succession planning and team capability development

    • Supervise team members, including performance management and hiring responsibilities

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited program (or equivalent experience)

    • Minimum 11 years of relevant electrical engineering experience

    • Active engineering registration or licensure (Professional Engineer preferred)

    • Ability to serve as Engineer of Record where required

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering

    • Proven experience leading electrical design for data center projects

    • Strong understanding of redundancy and resiliency design strategies

    • Familiarity with hyperscale, edge, and colocation data center design differences

    • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including advanced 3D modeling and custom families

    • Experience with BIM 360, Navisworks, Revit worksets, view templates, and phasing

    • Knowledge of data center tier classification systems

    • Demonstrated leadership in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources

    • Strong analytical skills with ability to leverage metrics for decision-making

    • Effective client communication and business development support capabilities

    • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments
