Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office)

Level: Senior

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join a growing multidisciplinary engineering team in Dallas, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to lead the design and delivery of complex healthcare projects while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering design within an A/E consulting environment, exceptional project management skills, and experience serving as a technical leader on healthcare and other commercial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical engineering design for healthcare and commercial building projects from concept through construction.
  • Manage multiple projects while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource and client contact throughout project execution.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, architectural, and other project disciplines.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineering staff through technical guidance and project leadership.
  • Review engineering documents for quality, code compliance, and constructability.
  • Support business development efforts by maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 15 years of experience in an A/E consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading engineering projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical building systems and applicable industry codes and standards.
  • Healthcare project experience is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
