    Description

    Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the widely respected and diverse Civil Facilities Division with flexibility to be assigned to The Hollywood, FL office location.

    Successful candidates must be a technically well-versed Electrical Engineer specializing in building systems. Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Florida with 5+ years of design experience.

    Primary responsibilities include:
    Leading technical designs from project kickoff to punch list.
    Assisting with Planning, scheduling, and coordinating successful delivery of projects to be on time & on budget.
    Attending meetings with clients, owners, architects & building managers.
    Interpreting/assuring compliance with all federal, state & local codes.
    Adhering to the QA/QC process & providing final review of project documents.
    Assisting with business development, client management & proposal development.

    Desired Skills & Qualifications:
    Bachelor's of Science or Technology Degree in Electrical Engineering course work that includes layout and design of power distribution at building voltage levels and lighting designs required.
    A licensed P.E. in Florida is required.
    5+ years of electrical design experience in commercial, industrial, and institutional building facilities.
    Sustainable design experience with LEED accreditation is a plus.
    Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office.
    Superior organizational and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team, develop and maintain client relations, and meet project demands and schedules.
    Some fieldwork travel may be required.
