Job Description
Salary- range : $160K-$170K
Must Haves:
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or related field.
- Active PE license in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of electrical design experience, specifically building electrical systems.
- Strong power distribution, lighting design, load calculations, and construction documentation experience.
- Relevant project experience in Healthcare OR Multi-Family/Mid-Rise/High-Rise Residential (other complex commercial/institutional backgrounds may be considered).
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of California Title 24, Part 6 energy requirements.
- Ability to independently lead designs, coordinate with other disciplines, and communicate directly with clients.
Strong Plusses:
- Healthcare electrical design experience, particularly OSHPD/HCAI projects.
- Strong knowledge of California building codes, utilities, and AHJ requirements.
- Data Center, Higher Education, Institutional, and complex Commercial project experience.
- Experience with SKM and/or ETAP for electrical power system studies.
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and solar/PV design experience, including PVsyst.
- Project Management experience and ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior electrical engineers.
- California PE license and significant California project experience.
This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client.
