Job Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for electrical power, lighting, medium-voltage distribution, and related electrical construction projects.
Perform quantity takeoffs, develop detailed labor and material cost estimates, and obtain vendor and subcontractor pricing.
Review bid documents, evaluate subcontractor scopes, and assist with contract modifications and change order pricing.
Participate in project turnover, kickoff meetings, and ongoing collaboration with project management teams to support successful project execution.



Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience estimating commercial or industrial electrical construction projects.
Demonstrated experience with electrical power and lighting systems, including projects involving substations, hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, or data centers.
Experience with hard-bid contracts, conceptual estimating, and managing multiple estimates simultaneously.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience using ConEst estimating software.
