Relocation financial assistance is offered.We are seeking an Senior Electrical Project Manager to oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources, ensuring electrical construction projects are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to keep projects on track while maintaining high standards of quality and teamwork.This role reports to the Director of Operations and will mentor Assistant Project Managers, Projects Admins, General Foreman, and Foreman.What You'll DoPre-construction Planning:Review project documents, budgets, schedules, and resource needs.Assess labor, materials, subcontractors, and vendors.Establish production targets and lead project planning, including routing, layouts, and team coordination.Oversee job handoff from estimating to setup.Cost Management:Monitor and control costs, labor budgets, and productivity.Manage change orders, purchase orders, and vendor/subcontractor invoicing.Support cost projections, billing, and budget alignment.Project Management:Procure resources and ensure timelines are met.Communicate with clients and teams, maintaining logs and tracking progress.Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, and field operations.Conduct weekly reviews and ensure alignment of short-term plans.Job Site Documentation:Manage and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, specs, submittals, and change orders.What You'll BringQualifications8+ years of project management experience in the electrical construction industry is requiredBachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred, but not requiredPrior field experience as an electrician or construction worker is preferred, but not requiredAbility to manage 5-10 construction projects simultaneouslyAbility to read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams and written specificationsOSHA 30 training is preferred, OSHA 500 is betterAdvanced knowledgeable of the National Electric Code requirementsAbility to communicate effectively with all personnel involved in a projectComputer software proficiency including Microsoft Office and OutlookAdditional RequirementsThe working hours are 45 – 50 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pmNetworking, business development, and customer service activities which support the sales process overallPositively contributing to safety processes and cultureOther duties as assignedWhat You'll Get$120,000 to $140,000 base salary depending on experience$15,000 sign-on bonus!Performance and retention bonus potentialCompany pays for Cobra for up to 90 days3 weeks of vacation and 1 week of sick pay$1,000 monthly vehicle allowanceRelocation assistance if moving from out of stateComprehensive insurance benefitsWhy Join Kelso Industries?Join us and be part of a team dedicated to creating efficient, sustainable, and high-performance environments that make a lasting impact across the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors.Here you will experience:Growth Opportunities: Develop new skills, take on exciting challenges, and advance your career in meaningful ways.Company Culture: You'll thrive in an environment that supports your growth, values your contributions, and makes work fulfilling and enjoyable.Impact: Your work directly contributes to meaningful outcomes, allowing you to see the difference you make and feel a sense of purpose every day.Competitive Compensation & Benefits: You'll be rewarded fairly for your contributions while enjoying perks that enhance your financial security, health, and overall well-being.Kelso Industries celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
