We are seeking an experienced traveling Senior Electrical Project Manager to oversee and execute electrical construction projects across multiple locations. This role is responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring high-quality, safe, and profitable project delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, travel-based environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage all phases of electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeoutDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecastsCoordinate with superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and suppliersReview project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure complianceLead project meetings with clients, general contractors, and internal teamsTrack and manage change orders, RFIs, and submittalsMonitor job costs, productivity, and project profitabilityEnsure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budgetIdentify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactivelyEnforce safety standards and ensure compliance with NEC and all applicable regulationsMaintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionallyMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The characteristics listed below are representative of those sought to perform this job successfully.Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and NEC codesProven experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneouslyAbility to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contractsStrong financial acumen (budgeting, cost control, forecasting)Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE Qualified applicants will have:Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar5+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager (commercial or industrial preferred)Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50–100%)Valid driver's licenseABOUT THE KORTE COMPANY The Korte Company was founded in 1958 on the belief that professionalism, quality and value added services are fundamental to a successful company.
