Onsite Job: Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Work Location: MN - Maple Grove, 10000 Mission Drive

Duration: 12 Months

Education: Bachelor's Degree Required

Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain

Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline plus 5 years of relevant experience; or a master's degree and 3 years of experience; or a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience.

• Must be highly skilled in object-oriented design and C++ embedded software development.

• Must have experience working with RTOS and/or bare-metal hard real-time application development.

• Practical knowledge and experience with applicable software engineering processes.

• Familiarity with Ethernet communications.

• Contemporary design and development experience.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.

Skills Preferred

• Ability to conduct effective meetings, discussions, and presentations.

• Practical knowledge and experience with applicable software management processes.

• Practical knowledge and experience with applicable engineering development processes.

• Familiarity with Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) and Client Life Cycle Management.

• Working knowledge of the cybersecurity domain, specifically the Risk Management Framework and the requirements and processes to obtain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO). Ideally, the candidate would possess a cybersecurity certification.

• Weapon system and/or combat experience.

Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of work experience, or equivalent experience.

• Must-have experience:

• Expert-level C++ programming.

• Embedded hard real-time program design and development experience.
