Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineering

Duration: 18 months to start + potential extension

Location: MAhwaqh, NJ

Required Pay Scale: $65-67/hr

  • Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates*

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Operations Engineering Project Engineer to support product transfer and process implementation activities within manufacturing and service operations. This role will be responsible for coordinating engineering deliverables, supporting site readiness efforts, maintaining engineering documentation, and ensuring successful execution of project timelines.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, operations engineering, or process development and possess strong organizational, technical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support product transfer projects and process implementation activities within manufacturing and service operations.
  • Coordinate site readiness efforts to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop, maintain, and update engineering documentation, including process flows, risk assessments, and work instructions.
  • Support process validation, inspection readiness, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with measurement system development, data analysis, and training activities.
  • Coordinate gage and fixture management, including calibration and enrollment processes.
  • Support system updates, manufacturing routers, process changes, and labeling updates.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and external suppliers to achieve project objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, risk reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Track project activities and ensure assigned deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, operations engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting product transfers, process implementation, or manufacturing projects.
  • Strong understanding of engineering documentation, process validation, and quality systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and support technical problem-solving activities.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering documentation systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with risk assessments, inspection methods, and measurement systems analysis.
  • Knowledge of calibration programs, gage management, and process validation activities.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
