An established environmental consulting and contracting firm in Santa Cruz is adding a senior licensed geologist or engineer who wants to write and own the reports that move sites to closure.
The firm holds its own hazmat, drilling and demolition licenses and runs projects in-house from investigation through closure. On soil, soil vapor and groundwater cases, you’ll write and stamp CSMs, RAPs, soil management plans and closure requests, oversee field work, and work with the RWQCB, DTSC and county LOPs. You’ll work directly with a hands-on principal geologist who reads every report.
What you bring:
Work arrangement: Remote-friendly, with office visits as little as once a month. Full-time, part-time and contract arrangements are available.
Compensation: Full-time base of $150K–$180K for a PE or $120K–$160K for a PG. Fully employer-paid vision, dental, life and LTD. Contract rate $120–$150/hr.
