ENGINEERING MANAGER(Permanent)
Our client, an international manufacturing organization headquartered in WNY, is looking to add an Engineering Manager to their growing team. This is a strategic role that oversees critical engineering projects to ensure they align with company objectives and long-term growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers, offering support, guidance, and training while fostering a culture dedicated to professional development
Create and implement different engineering strategies to support organizational & project goals
Spearhead the planning, coordination, execution, and completion of various engineering projects, ensuring each remains within established timelines, scope, and budget requirements.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering solutions are seamlessly integrated across all affected business functions
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, championing the adoption of new technologies, process improvements, and updates to existing methodologies
Manage engineering budgets and resource planning for each project, ensuring optimal utilization of funding and resource allocation
Maintain compliance with applicable quality requirements, industry standards, and regulations across all engineering activities
Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, providing detailed status updates for each project/engineering initiative
Seamlessly juggle multiple complex engineering projects at a time, possessing the ability to move from one to the next with ease
Work well in a team environment as well as independently
Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
Position is full-time, direct hire
Up to 30% travel possible
$150,000 – $200,000 annually depending on experience + excellent benefits
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; Master’s degree is preferred
10+ years’ experience in an engineering or related technical field; preferably in a manufacturing environment
5+ years’ experience in a leadership role
Must have a proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects and successfully leading a team
Strong computer skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills

Meticulous attention to detail
