Job Description
We are seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead and collaborate on land development projects from concept through completion. The role combines hands-on design work with team leadership to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering projects and lead project teams.
- Prepare and review site plans, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater, and permitting documents.
- Perform design tasks, flood studies, and complex calculations.
- Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare proposals, reports, and correspondence.
- Mentor and train staff, fostering team development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field;PE preferred.
- 6 12 years experience in civil/land development engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, grading, stormwater management, and hydraulic/hydrologic software (HydraFlow, HydroCAD, StormCAD, HEC-HMS/RAS).
- Knowledge of local land use processes and regulations (NY/NJ preferred).
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
