Senior Engineering Technician

Pay Range: $35/hr - $38/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage the environmental testing lab, focusing on electrodynamic shaker systems and integrated slip tables.
• Execute complex structural, sinusoidal, random, and pyro-shock vibration tests.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to set up and program testing protocols.
• Troubleshoot and enhance testing processes, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Analyze time, motion, and methods to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for testing activities.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• 4-6 years of experience in vibration testing and troubleshooting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with high-force amplifiers, data acquisition systems, and mechanical fixturing.
• Strong decision-making skills in complex situations.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Experience in managing and leading testing teams.
• Additional certifications in relevant engineering or technical fields.
