Job Description
Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction
Reporting into senior preconstruction leadership, the Senior Estimator will take ownership of critical estimating functions and support the successful pursuit of new business opportunities.
Lead the preparation and delivery of detailed estimates throughout design and preconstruction phases.
Develop conceptual budgets, cost plans, and pricing strategies using limited design information.
Manage and mentor estimators working on complex, multi-disciplinary construction projects.
Evaluate project risks and establish appropriate contingencies and estimate assumptions.
Collaborate with operations teams, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure pricing accuracy and feasibility.
Analyze subcontractor proposals, supplier pricing, market conditions, escalation impacts, and procurement risks.
Present estimating strategies and recommendations during internal reviews, client presentations, and project pursuit activities.

For the Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction we are seeking:
Proven estimating experience within commercial construction.
Strong background delivering estimates for large-scale ground-up construction projects.
Ability to prepare conceptual estimates, detailed budgets, and comprehensive cost plans.
Experience leading, mentoring, or developing estimating teams.
Strong understanding of subcontractor procurement, market pricing, and construction cost drivers.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage clients and senior stakeholders.
Detail-oriented professional capable of balancing strategic thinking with technical accuracy.
Ability to work effectively within an office-based, collaborative environment.
