Senior Estimator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator to join our growing preconstruction team. This individual will lead the estimating process for multifamily residential projects ranging from $20M–$100M across Southwest Florida. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, deep knowledge of the local market, and a collaborative mindset that aligns with our culture of excellence and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end estimating process for multifamily projects: conceptual, schematic, and final GMP/bid proposals

• Develop accurate quantity takeoffs using digital tools (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, OST, etc.)

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop complete cost estimates

• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids, ensuring full scope coverage and accurate pricing

• Participate in design review meetings, providing real-time value engineering and constructability input

• Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and executives to align preconstruction with execution strategy

• Track and update historical cost data, vendor pricing, and market conditions to maintain estimate accuracy

• Prepare and present estimates to executive leadership and ownership groups

• Mentor junior estimators and collaborate with the precon team to uphold quality and consistency

Qualifications:

• 8–12 years of construction estimating experience, including significant multifamily project work (podium, garden-style, mid-rise, or wrap)

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred

• Strong understanding of project delivery methods (Design-Build, CM-at-Risk, Lump Sum)

• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar construction software

• Demonstrated ability to develop conceptual budgets from limited design documentation

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills

• Local subcontractor market knowledge (Southwest Florida) a strong plus
