Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead estimating activities for heavy highway and asphalt paving projects, including large-scale DOT projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the estimating team.
Review project plans, specifications, and scope.
Prepare cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and bid proposals.
Conduct market analysis and identify project risks.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Review vendor and subcontractor pricing.
Ensure compliance with MASSDOT and CTDOT specifications.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
5+ years of asphalt paving or heavy highway estimating experience.
Experience estimating projects valued at $5M $25M.
Proficiency in B2W Estimating, Excel, Word, and MS Project.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
