    Job Description:

    This job is responsible for supporting technology initiative financial management activities, including project setup, allocations, reporting, software capitalization assessments, and process improvement efforts for a portfolio that supports technology investments across the enterprise. Key responsibilities include partnering with Technology project managers and Business Finance Officers, supporting quarterly software capitalization reviews, enhancing reporting and automation capabilities, and contributing to enterprise process improvement initiatives. Job expectations include quickly learning the initiative finance ecosystem, demonstrating strong ownership and problem-solving skills, collaborating effectively with stakeholders, and helping drive process efficiencies while working independently and as part of a team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Reviews, challenges, and reports on forecasts and budgets by comparing current performance against plan, prior periods and prior forecasts, and evaluating current and future performance trajectory
    • Compiles financial information from a Line of Business (LOB) and consolidated perspective for presentation to stakeholders
    • Develops financial management dashboards, reports, presentations, ad hoc analysis, and research using Microsoft Office Suite and Emerging Technology tools
    • Collaborates with teams across the Finance division to ensure integrity of the financials, sound controls, and efficient and effective procedures with limited oversight
    • Supports new and ongoing projects and strategic initiatives by helping to create new processes to automate key reporting capabilities and delivering on process improvements and simplifications to enable increased focus on strategic priorities
    • Exhibits strong attention to detail and applies analytical thinking and problem solving to deliverables while collaborating with key stakeholders and partners
    • Support the project portfolios for assigned Tech teams including set-up, rate and funding updates, portfolio targets, allocations, and reporting
    • Develop understanding of TPAS (financial system of record for technology initiatives) and related routines
    • Develop understanding of quarterly software capitalization process. Support user training. Coordinate quarterly software capitalization assessment and review for assigned portfolios.  Lead program review meetings with multiple stakeholders.
    • Leverage data query tools (PowerQuery/TOAD) to perform research and analysis

    Required Qualifications:

    • 2-5 years in Finance, Data, FP&A, or related industry experience
    • Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Ability to quickly learn complex processes and tools with a process improvement mindset
    • Well organized with strong attention to detail and effective time management skills
    • Effective communications skills
    • Ability to build working relationships and collaborate with teammates

    Desired Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, and/or Data/Computer Science
    • SAP / eLedger / EPM understanding/experience
    • Exposure to Alteryx or other data management and automation tools (e.g., Power Query, Tableau, SQL, etc.)
    • Experience supporting process improvement, operations, or project management roles
