JOB SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Vice President of Finance & Tax, the incumbent will self-manage and assist with various finance duties, including budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and cash management. Doyon is seeking an individual who desires the following: An opportunity to be part of the finance department; assisting with the development and execution of a wide range of tasks, including cash management and budgeting to effectively manage risk; promoting a "team concept" and thrives working in a team environment; the need for being responsive and servicing subsidiaries, Doyon Limited departments, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Compile and review the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts using OneStream Software
- Assist in preparation of financial models and pro-forma financial statements used in the corporate strategic planning and corporate development processes
- Coordinate and interface with accounting teams, at the parent and subsidiary levels, in data collection for support of annual budgets and financial forecasting
- Report daily cash balances and monitor cash and financing needs
- Assist in long-term financial projections including updating and maintaining the corporate capital model.
- Assist in due diligence of new acquisitions
- Assist in matters of concern to the Finance Committee
- Develop and produce appropriate monitoring tools and reports to assure and communicate compliance to internal and external stakeholders
- Track finance reporting due dates and bank covenant compliance
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience and education
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in tax, finance, or a related area
- Strong computer proficiency (including Microsoft Excel, Word, BNA Fixed Assets, RIA Checkpoint, and tax return software)
- Demonstrated ability in compiling and working accurately with large quantities of data
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, financial statements and perform technical research; read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Some travel required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in taxation
- Certified Public Accountant
- Experience with OneStream Consolditation Software
- Fixed asset management experience
- Relevant work experience in a large corporation or public accounting firm (Big 4/National CPA firm is a plus).
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting financial data
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
