What You'll Do

Are you a finance professional who excels at delivering clear, actionable insights while also helping to evolve how financial information is delivered across an organization? As a Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A, you will play a key role in driving financial planning, reporting, and business partnership efforts-while also contributing meaningfully to the modernization and automation of the firm's financial reporting environment.

In this role, you'll support financial reporting, and operational insights for practice areas and business functions. At the same time, you'll help advance our transition to a more automated, Power BI-driven ecosystem by streamlining manual processes, improving data flow, and enabling consistent, real-time insights for firm leadership.

  • Serve as a finance partner - Build strong relationships with business and practice leaders, helping them interpret financial performance and understand key drivers.
  • Own compensation modeling - Prepare attorney year-end compensation estimates and detailed bonus components, which are based on a complex matrix calculation of hours, ratings, class year, special circumstances etc.
  • Deliver executive-ready reporting - Prepare and enhance recurring management reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Advance reporting modernization - Translate manual reports into automated Power BI dashboards that improve accuracy, consistency, and visibility. Actively participate in/contribute to system and process re-engineering efforts; recognize/assess the downstream impacts of process changes.
  • Drive process automation - Identify opportunities to streamline recurring FP&A workflows, leveraging tools such as Power Query, Power Automate, and other automation capabilities to reduce manual effort and accelerate reporting cycles.
  • Enhance data integrity - Enhance process efficiency, support new initiatives, and/or more accurately reflect changing business elements.
  • Improve operational efficiency - Recommend and implement process enhancements that simplify data preparation, reduce cycle times, and improve the scalability of our reporting environment.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; with 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business intelligence, ideally within a professional services or corporate environment.
  • Ownership and initiative - A proactive approach to managing deliverables, improving processes, and elevating reporting clarity.
  • Business partnership capability - Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and influence non-finance stakeholders.
  • Power BI & data skills - Strong proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query) and experience with automation tools such as Power Automate or Alteryx is a plus.
  • Analytical depth - Advanced Excel skills with experience preparing forecasts, models, and business insights.
  • Process improvement mindset - Experience identifying inefficiencies and automating recurring reporting or analytical workflows.
  • Detail orientation - Commitment to data accuracy, quality, and reliability.
  • Modernization orientation - Interest in enhancing how financial data is delivered and consumed through automation and streamlined reporting.

If you're excited to contribute as a trusted FP&A partner while helping drive meaningful automation and modernization across the firm's financial reporting processes, we'd love to hear from you!
