Senior Financial Analyst

IDR is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Englewood, CO. This role supports a fast-paced, highly technical organization within the telecom/technology space, partnering closely with leadership to strengthen financial reporting, forecasting, and governance. You’ll help drive financial oversight and decision-making as the business evolves and scales, with a strong focus on optimizing cloud-related spend and performance.

Position Overview for the Senior Financial Analyst:

• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles, ensuring accurate and timely financial plans
• Analyze monthly results and support accounting month-end close activities, including variance and performance insights
• Build and maintain weekly/monthly models and dashboards for operational and financial KPIs, with emphasis on cloud consumption
• Develop and deliver executive-level financial presentations with clear recommendations and business impact
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and long-term value through hypothesis-driven modeling, multi-year agreements, and ad-hoc analyses

Requirements for the Senior Financial Analyst:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in an accounting/finance environment
• 1+ year of Cloud FinOps experience
• Experience building financial models and reporting for operational and performance metrics
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting insights and recommendations to leadership
