    Description

    The Worldwide Retail Growth & Development team within Grocery Stores Finance seeks a strategic Senior Financial Analyst who will be the operational backbone of our Real Estate Optimization pillar, transforming complex asset management challenges into streamlined financial processes that maximize portfolio efficiency and drive organizational excellence across our retail footprint.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Lead remodel strategy and investment decision support to optimize existing retail store performance
    • Own comprehensive occupancy planning and reporting across all banners, including rent approvals
    • Drive asset management excellence through lease disposition strategies and efficient exit planning for non-operating locations
    • Execute impairment testing and portfolio optimization initiatives including asset retirement obligations and fair market value analysis
    • Provide strategic finance support for Instore Retail Partnerships, optimizing third-party operations within WWGS locations
    • Maintain rigorous compliance with GRC requirements and cross-functional financial controls
