HOSPITAL OR PROVIDER FINANCE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with hospital, health system, or physician/provider group finance experience for a healthcare client in Fort Worth, TX. This highly analytical role focuses on complex data analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and translating financial and operational data into actionable insights for leadership.

Candidates with only corporate finance, banking, insurance/payer, pharmacy, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other non-provider finance experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex financial and operational data and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Prepare budgets, rolling forecasts, financial models, and pro formas.
• Analyze budget-to-actual variances, KPIs, trends, and financial performance.
• Develop financial, operational, statistical, and executive-level reporting.
• Partner with department leaders on financial performance and strategic initiatives.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Hospital, health system, or physician/provider group finance experience is REQUIRED.
• Current DFW-area candidate able to work onsite in Fort Worth; relocation is not available.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field with 4+ years of relevant planning and analysis experience; OR Master's degree in a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with data analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into meaningful business insights and recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pro forma development and financial modeling experience.
• CMS reimbursement experience, including Medicare and Medicaid supplemental payments.
• SQL knowledge.
• MBA and/or CPA.
