Senior Financial Analyst – PE-Backed Services Platform

Alliance Resource Group is partnered with a growing, private equity-backed services company in Irvine that is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys FP&A, operations finance, and building better reporting in a multi-location business. The company is scaling across legacy branches, greenfield locations, and acquired businesses, and the finance team is building the reporting and analytics infrastructure to support that growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and budget-to-actual analysis
  • Analyze P&L performance by branch, region, location, and business type
  • Help leadership understand revenue, gross margin, labor, headcount, and operating trends
  • Build KPI dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reporting packages
  • Partner with operations leaders to understand the story behind the numbers
  • Support post-acquisition performance reporting and acquired-location visibility
  • Improve reporting workflows using Excel, Power BI, and other tools

Who We’re Looking For
  • 3–6+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or operations finance experience
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large / imperfect data sets
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI reporting, and P&L analysis
  • Multi-location, branch-based, field services, industrial services, distribution, or PE-backed experience is a plus
  • Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or automation experience is helpful
  • Curious, proactive, and comfortable building processes from scratch
