The work you will support is highly impactful, influencing decisions across corporate strategy, regulatory positioning, and capital allocation. The position also provides broad experience at the intersection of corporate finance, policy, and commercial transaction evaluation, all within a lean, collaborative, high-caliber team that values collaboration, ownership, and analytical rigor.

The role is hybrid working from your remote office and in-person at the Oakland General Office once a week, based on business needs or company requirements.

    • Continuously improving model logic, functionality, structure, and documentation
    • Automate data processes to support efficient scenario analysis

    Strategic & Regulatory Analysis

    • Research and analyze complex, cross-functional topics including building electrification, grid modernization, and long-term power generation strategy
    • Partner with internal stakeholders across Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Strategy, Operations, and Law to support key policy and legislative topics

    Transactions & Commercial Evaluation

    • Support evaluation of inorganic growth opportunities, including joint ventures, minority investments, and asset-level transactions
    • Review commercial term sheets and perform financial due diligence to assess value creation and risk

    Executive Communication

    • Develop clear, concise, and executive-ready presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
    • Present insights in forums including operating reviews, senior leadership briefings, and internal cross-training sessions
